Since 1974, Valin has grown to serve the needs of a broad customer base within a wide range of industries: semiconductor/microelectronics, petroleum refining, power generation, chemical processing, measurement and analytical systems, industrial machinery, water and wastewater, scientific research, aerospace, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and beverage.

Headquarters and Locations

Valin’s 50,000 square foot facility, located in Sunnyvale, California, is equipped with a fully automated warehouse and inventory management system, providing customers throughout the Western US with access to over 10,000 inventoried SKUs. With seven additional branches throughout the West, Valin is prepared to provide the local support, expertise, and commitment you need.

Executive Management Team
	Joseph Nettemeyer -- President and Chief Executive Officer Before joining Valin in 2001, President and CEO Joseph Nettemeyer held a number of managerial and executive positions at Emerson Electric, a $16 billion global manufacturer. Mr. Nettemeyer is a former Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Chromalox Division of Emerson Electric. He is a member of the Valin Board of Directors.
	David Hefler -- Chief Financial Officer Before joining Valin in 2006, Vice President and CFO David Hefler held a number of managerial and executive positions at Crane Co. and Emerson. Prior to joining Valin, Mr. Hefler was the Vice President and CFO for the Barksdale Division of Crane Co. Mr. Hefler previously held Vice President positions in both finance and operations for several divisions of Emerson. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Valin Board of Directors.
	Mark Tomalonis -- Vice President, Operations Mark Tomalonis started his career at Valin Corporation in 1980. After fourteen years in sales and sales management, Mark took over Valin’s operations (customer service, inventory control, fulfillment and information technology) in 1994. Mark holds a degree in Chemistry from Dartmouth College. Mark has been instrumental in creating internet-based tools to enable wholesaler-distributors to share their inventories.
	Bob Watson -- Vice President, Operations, Process Control Group Bob has been in the industrial valve/process control business since 1978, working for both the manufacturer and representative sales companies. In 1986, Bob Watson and John Hill founded Hill & Watson Associates, Inc., a company dedicated to sales of value added valve and instrumentation products. Bob served as president of Hill & Watson Associates for 18 years, until the company was acquired by Valin in late 2004. Bob holds an engineering degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
	John Hill -- Vice President, Sales, Process Control Group Mr. Hill joined Valin in December, 2004 as a result of the acquisition of Hill & Watson Associates, Inc. He was the co-founder and owner of Hill & Watson Associates, Inc. and Automation & Controls Specialists, Inc., two companies specializing in the valve automation and process instrumentation business. Mr. Hill has over 32 years of experience in industrial sales.
