Protecting Art Objects

APPLICATION

Art objects such as statuary, vases, chests, or other works of art not in cabinets or other coverings, can be protected with the Sentrol roller magnetic switch.

INSTALLATION

Inspect the flat surface on which the protected art object will rest. The art object must exert sufficient weight to fully depress the roller of the switch when the object is in place.

Drill a 3/4" (1.9 cm) diameter hole in the display stand at least 1-1/2" (3.81 cm) deep.

Install the switch, connecting the wires in a 24-hour loop if available to assure protection even if the perimeter loop is inoperative.

If the height of the Interlogix switch’s flange causes the protected object to "rock," recess the switch as shown in the illustration.
