Fuji Electric Co. announces today the release of FRENIC-HVAC and FRENIC-AQUA models of inverters.
Inverters used for air-conditioning and water treatment account for about 20% of the global market for inverters. Especially in Asian countries experiencing significant growth, such as India and the ASEAN nations, power supply cannot keep up with the expansion of air-conditioning and water treatment infrastructure, so efforts to save energy through inverter control of fans and pumps are progressing rapidly.
The newly released FRENIC-HVAC models for use in air-conditioning equipment and the FRENIC-AQUA models for use in water treatment systems feature a slim design that allows the units to be mounted against a wall, like mainstream products sold in the Asian and European markets. These units have been produced as specialized equipment loaded with the standard functions required to independently operate fans and pumps in air-conditioning equipment and water supply and drainage facilities.
With this product release, Fuji Electric intends to aggressively expand into the Asian and European markets in particular, while working to contribute to helping create low-carbon societies.
Equipped with specialized functions for the control of air conditioners and pumps - An input interface that includes temperature sensors and controllers is equipped as a standard feature, and a 4PID* control function monitors the external environment particular to air-conditioning and water treatment systems to enable optimum control of fans and pumps
Designed with a dustproof and waterproof construction - Compatibility with IEC IP55 standards eliminates the need for special dust-proofing or water-proofing measures
Standard equipment for ensuring low noise and harmonic suppression - A built-in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) filter and direct-current reactor reduce noise and harmonics
Numerous languages accessible via user-friendly operation panel - The operation panel can be customized with 19 languages available, including English and Chinese. Additional languages are available upon request.
Slim models that can be mounted against the wall - The 7.5-kilowatt model is 150 millimeters wide, 465 millimeters tall, and 262 millimeters deep, making it possible to be placed in confined spaces
