What is meant by "touch down terminals"?Touch down terminals are screw terminals where the screw is held captive in a cammed carrier. This is especially useful for ring lug terminated wires in that the ring lug can be inserted in the terminal block and the screw pushed down, but not tightened, to hold the wire in place. This allows coming back to the same terminal again to add another wire or to tighten with a power screwdriver.
