Datasensor SRX3 is the new ultrasonic fork sensor for a wide range of applications that demand reliable label detection for challenging applications. With state-of-the-art, ultrasonic technology, the new SRX3 is able to read any type of label dispensed on any type of roll support. The forked ultrasonic sensor performs label detection based on the difference of material width inside the sensible area. The sensor can reliably detect paper, plastic, transparent and metallic labels on paper, plastic and metallic bearer tapes. Datalogic SRX3 can detect a gap of 2mm for label widths of 2mm at a speed of 60m/min. The ultrasonic technology enables allows for the detection of transparent labels on transparent roll supports, difficult achieve with optical operated sensors. Additionally, the SRX3 detects labels printed with metallic ink, which capacitive operated sensors are not able to detect. These features make the SRX3 the best solution for any label detection applications that demands a wide range of label formats and types. Datasensor ultrasonic M18 sensors of the US18 series are available in two different barrel housings: tubular and right angle mounting. M18 Tubular series offers models either with discrete bipolar output (1 NPN and 1 PNP) or with 4-20 mA or 0-10 V analog output, each with axial or radial acoustic emission. M18 Right angle series provides discrete outputs (PNP or NPN). Datalogic US18 series guarantees a small blind zone providing a wide operating range from 30 to 300 mm for the tubular models and from 50 to 500 mm for the right angle models. The sensors are easily configured through the Teach-in function, while the operating status is visibly signalled by 2 bi-coloured LEDs.
Datasensor M30x1 ultrasonic sensors of US30 series are available in models with operating distances reaching 200 cm either with bipolar digital output (1 NPN and 1 PNP) or with 4-20 mA or 0-10 V analogue output. Datalogic sensors can be easily configured using the Teach-in function, while the operating status is visibly signalled by 3 LEDs. The temperature compensation function corrects the sound speed changes due to temperature variations, so the sensor precision remains unchanged in all situations.
Datalogic US50 is the new series of ultrasonic sensors with M50 plastic tubular housing. All models are provided with a radial emitting head and offer the following versions: Digital bipolar PNP/NPN NO/NC configurable output; Analogue 0-10V / 4-20m configurable output. Operating distance from 200mm to 8m makes Datasensor US50 ideal solution for all industrial applications where the target must be detected or measured really far away from the sensor. The sensor functions are set using DIP-switches located on the rear side. Electrical connection is obtained through a standard M12 5-pole connector Euro Style.
