Encoder Products Company Inc. (EPC), a leading designer and world-wide manufacturer of motion sensing devices, was founded in 1969, beginning operations with a small line of custom encoders (the original Cube series). Today, more than 50 years later, Encoder Products Company Inc. manufactures the most complete line of incremental and absolute shaft encoders in the industry, meeting the diverse needs of a wide range of global customers. Whether it’s a feedback solution for a small stepper motor, a rugged shaft encoder with 95 lbs bearing loads, or a precision measuring wheel, EPC has a variety of products to meet your needs. As inventors of the original Cube encoder, Encoder Products Company Inc. is also responsible for many “firsts” in the encoder industry - the first to use Opto-ASIC technology, the first to use a flexible mount for hollow shaft encoders, and the first to produce an encoder designed to withstand the demands of high-temperature motor applications, to mention just a few.
